The LINCOLN ELECTRIC KP11-25 is an air-cooled contact tip designed for MIG welding applications. It accepts wire with a maximum outside diameter of 0.025 inches and is rated for use at 100 amps. The tip threads into the front end of a MIG gun and guides the electrode wire through the bore while transferring welding current to the wire. Consistent bore geometry and tight tolerances are critical to smooth wire feeding and stable arc performance. This tip is intended for use by professional welders and MIG welding technicians in shop and field environments.
The KP11-25 is rated for the Magnum 100L MIG gun, making it a direct-fit replacement for light-duty MIG welding setups. It is suited for thin-gauge steel and other base metals commonly welded with 0.025 inch solid wire. Package quantity is 10 tips per pack, making it practical for service technicians and production shops that replace contact tips on a regular maintenance cycle.
Designed for use with the Lincoln Electric Magnum 100L MIG gun. Accepts electrode wire with a maximum outside diameter of 0.025 inches.
Contact tip replacement is a routine consumable task performed by certified welders or MIG welding technicians. Before replacing the tip, power down the welder and disconnect the power source to avoid accidental arc initiation. Thread the contact tip into the gun neck by hand until snug, then tighten with the appropriate wrench — do not overtighten, as this can distort the bore. Inspect the gas diffuser and nozzle for spatter buildup while the tip is removed.
