The LINCOLN ELECTRIC KH962 is a paired, full-fingered welding glove designed for general welding applications. Built from split cowhide leather and synthetic leather with a synthetic heat-resistant polymer coating, it delivers heat protection and durability in demanding shop and field environments. The gauntlet-style cuff extends 10 inches for forearm coverage, bringing the overall length to 15 inches. Kevlar-sewn seams resist burn-through and extend glove life. A textured grip surface improves control of torches, electrode holders, and workpieces. The cotton lining adds comfort during extended wear. Licensed electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians working with brazing or torch equipment, as well as professional welders, are the primary installers of this glove.
The KH962 is rated for general welding use and sized for men's large (numeric size 10), with women's sizing noted as universal. The fully aluminized construction reflects radiant heat, making it suitable for MIG, stick, and light TIG applications where moderate heat exposure is expected. The wing thumb design allows natural hand positioning when gripping a torch or stinger. The cowhide back and cuff material stand up to slag spatter and rough handling on the job site or in the shop.
Designed for general welding applications including MIG, stick, and light torch work where heat-resistant hand protection is required.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, burns, or coating degradation that could compromise heat protection. Do not use damaged gloves near open flame or live electrical equipment. Allow gloves to cool completely before storing to prevent moisture buildup inside the lining. Welding operations should comply with applicable OSHA 29 CFR 1910.252 or 1926.351 standards for personal protective equipment.
