The gauntlet-style cuff extends 10 inches for forearm coverage, bringing the overall length to 15 inches. Kevlar-sewn seams resist burn-through and extend glove life. A textured grip surface improves control of torches, electrode holders, and workpieces. The cotton lining adds comfort during extended wear. Licensed electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians working with brazing or torch equipment, as well as professional welders, are the primary installers of this glove.

The KH962 is rated for general welding use and sized for men's large (numeric size 10), with women's sizing noted as universal. The fully aluminized construction reflects radiant heat, making it suitable for MIG, stick, and light TIG applications where moderate heat exposure is expected.
