Installation Notes

Rigging and use of lifting slings must be performed by a qualified rigger in accordance with OSHA 1910.184 and ASME B30.9. Inspect the sling for cuts, abrasion, ultraviolet degradation, heat damage, and tag legibility before each use — remove from service if any defects are found. Never exceed the rated capacity for the hitch configuration in use, and never use a sling with a missing or illegible capacity tag. Keep the sling away from sharp edges that could cut the webbing without the use of appropriate edge protection.
