The LH DOTTIE FM6322 is a flat head slotted machine screw designed for general-purpose fastening applications where a flush-surface finish is required. Made from steel with a zinc plated finish, this screw features a No. 6 nominal diameter, 32 threads per inch (TPI), and a 2-inch length. The flat head profile countersinks into the mating material, eliminating protrusion above the surface. It is installed using a standard slotted flat-head screwdriver. Electricians, plumbers, and general contractors commonly use this type of fastener when assembling equipment panels, junction boxes, conduit hardware, and other trade-related assemblies that require a clean, low-profile finish.
This screw is suited for light to medium-duty fastening tasks in residential and commercial construction environments. The 6-32 thread specification is a widely used standard in electrical and mechanical assemblies, including panel work, device mounting, and hardware installation. The zinc plated steel construction provides basic corrosion resistance appropriate for indoor and protected installations. Sold individually, it is also available in bulk pack quantities of 100 units under the same part number, making it practical for high-volume trade use.
Designed as a standard 6-32 x 2-inch flat head slotted machine screw suitable for use in any application requiring a No. 6-32 threaded fastener with a countersunk flat head profile.
Install using a flat-blade screwdriver sized to the slotted head. A properly sized pilot hole or tapped thread in the mating material is required before driving the screw. Do not overtighten, as the steel screw can shear or strip threads in softer base materials. Follow applicable NEC or other governing code requirements when using fasteners in electrical enclosures or panel assemblies.
