The LEVITON TELCOM LB115-EPT is a 15-amp, 1-pole thermal-magnetic circuit breaker with ground fault protection for equipment (GFPE). It is designed to protect electrical circuits and connected equipment from overloads, short circuits, and ground faults. GFPE breakers detect ground fault current and trip before damage occurs to motors, transformers, or other equipment loads. This breaker is intended for installation by licensed electricians in load centers and panelboards where equipment-level ground fault protection is required by code or project specification.
The LB115-EPT suits residential and light commercial electrical distribution applications where a single-pole, 15-amp branch circuit requires GFPE protection. Typical installations include equipment circuits serving motors, HVAC units, and sensitive electrical loads where nuisance tripping from standard GFCI devices would be unacceptable but equipment protection is still required. It is sold as a single unit and is appropriate for new construction and retrofit panel work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install 1-pole GFPE circuit breaker for panelboards and load centers accepting standard thermal-magnetic breaker form factors. Verify panel compatibility with the load center manufacturer specifications before installation.
Installation must be performed by a qualified, licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the panelboard before removing or installing any circuit breaker. Confirm the bus bar style and mounting clip configuration of the target panel match this breaker before seating. GFPE devices protect equipment, not personnel — do not substitute for GFCI protection where personnel protection is required by code.
