The LEVITON TELCOM 6ASJK-RV6 is a shielded Cat6A keystone jack designed for high-performance structured cabling installations. It terminates horizontal runs of shielded Cat6A cable and snaps into standard keystone-style wall plates, patch panels, and surface-mount boxes. The green color coding aids in port identification and cable management in multi-jack installations. This jack is suited for licensed low-voltage technicians and structured cabling installers working in commercial and residential network infrastructure projects.
This jack is used in Cat6A shielded cabling systems that require 10-Gigabit Ethernet performance. Typical install scenarios include office data drops, server room patch fields, and any structured wiring environment where alien crosstalk mitigation provided by shielded cabling is specified. The green color designation is commonly used to identify a specific network segment or VLAN within a larger installation.
Designed as an OEM-style termination component for shielded Cat6A structured cabling systems using standard keystone-compatible wall plates, patch panels, and surface-mount enclosures.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage technician following TIA-568 structured cabling standards. De-energize any connected network equipment before terminating or replacing jacks. A 110-style punch-down tool or the manufacturer-specified termination tool is typically required for proper conductor seating. Maintain shield continuity throughout the termination to preserve the shielding performance of the cabling system.
