The LEVITON TELCOM 41089-2EP is a 2-port surface mount housing designed to hold QuickPort snap-in keystone modules in low-voltage data and voice installations. The black enclosure mounts directly to a wall surface without requiring a standard electrical box, making it a practical solution for retrofit and add-on outlet locations. Licensed low-voltage technicians and structured wiring installers use this housing to terminate and protect QuickPort modules in residential and light commercial environments where recessed box installation is not feasible.
This housing is suited for surface mounting in locations such as home offices, server rooms, classrooms, and other spaces requiring a clean, finished outlet appearance without in-wall box work. It accepts two QuickPort modules side by side, supporting combinations of Ethernet, telephone, coaxial, HDMI, USB, or other keystone-style inserts depending on the modules selected. The compact footprint keeps the installation tidy against baseboards, desk surfaces, or wall sections with limited depth.
Designed as an OEM-style surface mount enclosure for use with QuickPort snap-in keystone modules in low-voltage residential and commercial structured wiring systems.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed low-voltage or structured cabling technician. De-energize any nearby circuits and confirm no live conductors are present in the mounting surface before drilling or fastening. The housing mounts with screws to the wall surface; follow local building codes for low-voltage wiring and surface raceway requirements where applicable. Do not overtighten mounting fasteners, as the enclosure is a plastic housing.
