The LEVITON PJ226-I is a 3-gang combination wallplate designed to accommodate two toggle-style device openings and one Decora or GFCI device opening in a single midway-size plate. Constructed from thermoplastic nylon, it provides durable, impact-resistant coverage for mixed-device electrical boxes commonly found in residential and light commercial wiring. The midway size falls between standard and oversized, offering better gap coverage around device boxes without requiring a jumbo plate. It ships in ivory finish. Licensed electricians and experienced wiremen install this plate as the final trim step in a device rough-in.
This wallplate suits mixed-device installations where two toggle switches and one Decora receptacle, GFCI receptacle, or Decora-style switch share a single 3-gang box. Typical applications include kitchen circuits, bathroom branch circuits, hallway switching arrangements, and any location where device styles are combined in one gang box. The device-mount configuration means the plate fastens directly to the installed devices rather than requiring separate wall screws at the plate corners.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation wallplate for 3-gang electrical boxes fitted with a combination of toggle-style and Decora or GFCI devices.
A licensed electrician should de-energize the branch circuit at the breaker panel before removing any existing wallplate or handling devices. Verify that all devices in the box are fully seated and secured to the gang box before mounting the wallplate. The device-mount design requires the plate screws to thread into the device yoke tabs, so ensure yoke screws are not over-torqued to the point of cracking the thermoplastic. Work must comply with applicable NEC requirements for device and cover installation.
