The LEVITON MFG CO R55-00931-00E is a dual-rated, right-angle dead front plug that covers both 30-amp and 50-amp 250-volt grounding applications in a single unit. It ships with a 30A adjustable blade and a flat 50A blade, allowing a single plug body to serve two common NEMA configurations: 6-30P at 30A/250V and 6-50P at 50A/250V. A built-in blade rejection feature prevents the housing from closing if the blade is installed incorrectly, reducing wiring errors in the field. The shell and bottom are hinged for straightforward assembly, and zinc-plated steel screws are included. Electricians install this plug on hard-service cords in commercial, industrial, and residential service environments.
