The LEVITON MFG CO C21-05501-LHI is a commercial specification grade, single pole illuminated toggle switch engineered for long service life in demanding installations. The switch stays lit when the circuit is off, making it easy to locate in dark corridors or utility spaces. Large silver-cadmium oxide contacts handle repeated switching cycles without degradation. Large-head terminal screws come backed out and staked from the factory, allowing fast side wiring of up to No. 12 copper wire. A heavy-gauge rust-resistant steel mounting strap and break-off plaster ears allow precise alignment in new construction and retrofit work. Licensed electricians and facilities maintenance crews are the primary installers.
