The LEVITON MFG CO 001-DDM06-1LZ is a Decora Digital Dimmer designed for residential and light commercial lighting control applications. It supports up to 600 watts at 120VAC for incandescent and halogen loads, up to 300 watts at 120VAC for dimmable LED and CFL fixtures, and up to 600VA for magnetic low-voltage lighting systems. A neutral wire is required for installation. Operating at 60Hz, the dimmer functions as a single-pole control on its own and converts to 3-way control when paired with a compatible Decora Digital Remote. Licensed electricians and knowledgeable installers handle this device as a direct wallbox replacement.
This dimmer is suited for standard residential wallbox installations controlling overhead lighting, recessed cans, or low-voltage fixtures. It is compatible with dimmable LED and CFL lamps as well as traditional incandescent and halogen sources, making it a practical choice when retrofitting or upgrading a lighting circuit. When used with the Decora Digital Remote accessory, it supports multi-location 3-way switching without requiring a traditional traveler wire arrangement. The unit ships in a package quantity of 10 and is available in White, Ivory, and Light Almond finishes to match standard Decora-style wallplates.
Designed for use with dimmable LED, CFL, incandescent, halogen, and magnetic low-voltage lighting loads at 120VAC. 3-way multi-location control requires the Leviton Decora Digital Remote accessory, sold separately.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local codes. Always shut off power at the circuit breaker and verify the circuit is de-energized with a voltage tester before removing the existing switch or dimmer. A neutral wire connection is required at the wallbox for this dimmer to function. Do not use with motor loads, fluorescent fixtures that are not rated dimmable, or loads exceeding the rated wattage for each lamp type.
