The LEVITON GFNT2-RI is a 20-amp, 125-volt self-test GFCI duplex receptacle designed for residential and commercial electrical installations. It features an automatic self-test function that verifies ground fault protection status within 3 seconds, eliminating the need for manual periodic testing. The body is constructed of polycarbonate with a thermoplastic face in an ivory finish. Rated for 2-pole, 3-wire feed-through wiring, it accepts wire sizes from 14 to 10 AWG via back or side wiring connections. Licensed electricians install this device as part of branch-circuit protection in wet or high-risk locations per NEC requirements.
This receptacle is suited for use in both residential and commercial settings where ground fault circuit interrupter protection is required. The 5-20R configuration and feed-through wiring capability allow it to protect downstream outlets on the same circuit. The ivory color and Decora-compatible form factor make it compatible with all Decora devices and wall plates. Included in the package are a self-grounding clip, wallplate, and faceplate, supporting a complete installation without additional hardware.
Compatible with all Decora devices and wall plates. Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation GFCI receptacle for residential and commercial 20-amp, 125-volt branch circuits requiring ground fault protection.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. Turn off the circuit breaker and verify zero voltage at the outlet box with a calibrated meter before beginning work. Feed-through wiring connections must be made to the correct line and load terminals as labeled on the device to ensure downstream protection functions properly. Do not apply power until all wiring connections are secured and the device is fully seated in the outlet box.
