The LESSO UV437-131 is a Schedule 40 PVC reducing bushing rated for UV exposure, designed to transition a 1-inch spigot connection down to a 3/4-inch socket connection. It is manufactured from UV-resistant PVC compound, making it suitable for above-ground and outdoor plumbing installations where direct sunlight exposure is a factor. Plumbers and pipefitters install this bushing when reducing pipe size within a solvent-welded PVC system. The spigot-by-socket (SxS) end configuration allows the bushing to slip into a 1-inch fitting hub while accepting a 3/4-inch pipe or fitting on the outlet end.
