The LENOX QP22021CL17385 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for demanding metal-cutting applications. Part of the LENOX QXP series, it measures 17 feet 4-5/8 inches in overall length with a 1-1/2 inch width and a 0.05 inch back thickness. The variable pitch tooth form runs at 2 to 3 TPI, and teeth are ground from M42+ high speed steel set in a single-level configuration. This blade is designed for professional metal fabricators and maintenance machinists who require consistent, controlled cuts on a wide range of metals using vertical or horizontal band saws.
This blade is suited for production and job-shop environments where a single blade must handle diverse material types. It is appropriate for cutting alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, tool steel, mold steel, bearing steel, aluminum, other non-ferrous metals, and titanium. The variable pitch pattern reduces harmonic vibration during the cut, which improves surface finish and extends blade life when transitioning between varying wall thicknesses or cross-sections. It is sold individually as a pre-welded loop ready to install.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit blade for band saws accepting a 17 feet 4-5/8 inch loop length and a 1-1/2 inch blade width.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or maintenance technician familiar with band saw blade changes. Power down and lock out the machine before removing the existing blade or installing the new one. Verify wheel diameter, blade guide spacing, and blade tension settings match the manufacturer specifications for a 1-1/2 inch wide blade before running the saw. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling the coiled blade, as the teeth present a laceration hazard.
