The LENOX CP22021CL18500 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for demanding cutting applications across a wide range of metals. Part of the LENOX Classic Pro series, it measures 18 feet 6 inches in length and 1.5 inches in width, with a blade thickness of 0.05 inches. The tooth profile features a variable pitch of 2 to 3 TPI with a Vari-Raker tooth set and a positive rake angle, reducing vibration and improving cut quality on irregular or variable cross-section stock. High Speed Steel M42 teeth are electron beam-welded to a Spring Steel back for long blade life under continuous feed loads. Licensed HVAC and mechanical contractors as well as metal fabrication shops rely on this blade for production bandsaw work.
This blade is suited for horizontal and vertical metal-cutting bandsaws used in commercial fabrication, maintenance shops, and job-site cutting operations. It handles a broad range of workpiece materials including alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, structural steel, tool steel, mold steel, bearing steel, aluminum, and non-ferrous metals. The variable pitch tooth form reduces harmonic vibration when cutting thin-wall tubing, solid bar, and bundled stock, making it a practical choice for shops cutting mixed material profiles throughout the day.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit welded blade for metal-cutting bandsaws accepting a 1.5-inch wide blade in an 18-foot 6-inch loop length. Verify your saw manufacturer's specified blade width, length, and thickness tolerances before installation.
Bandsaw blade installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with the saw manufacturer's tensioning and blade-guide specifications. Power down and lock out the bandsaw at the disconnect before removing the old blade or mounting a new one. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling coiled or looped blades. Confirm blade tracking, tension, and guide bearing alignment after installation before returning the saw to service, following the saw manufacturer's setup procedures.
