The LENOX 95989QPB185535 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for demanding metal-cutting applications in industrial and shop environments. Measuring 218 inches in length and 1-1/2 inches wide with a 0.05-inch blade thickness, it runs on standard vertical or horizontal bandsaws. The variable-pitch tooth form at 2 to 3 TPI reduces vibration and harmonics during cuts, and the M42+ high speed steel tooth material holds an edge longer on tough alloys. A positive rake angle and ground, single-level-set teeth promote clean, efficient cutting with minimal burr. Licensed HVAC, metal fabrication, and machine shop personnel are the typical end users for this blade.
This blade is built for cutting a broad range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Rated material applications include alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, tool steel, mold steel, bearing steel, titanium, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. The QXP series designation indicates a performance-grade product suitable for production cutting where consistent finish quality and blade longevity are priorities. It is not intended for contour cutting applications. Typical install scenarios include production sawing shops, maintenance facilities, and metal fabrication operations where long blade life on difficult materials is required.
Designed as a replacement or production-use bandsaw blade for vertical and horizontal metal-cutting bandsaws that accept a 218-inch blade length and 1-1/2-inch blade width.
Bandsaw blade installation should be performed by a qualified technician with the saw powered off, unplugged, or locked out per OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Blade guides, wheel alignment, and blade tension must be set to the saw manufacturer's specifications before operation. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling coiled or uncoiled blades. Inspect the weld joint and blade body for any cracks or defects before mounting.
