The M42-plus high speed steel tooth material delivers hardness and heat resistance needed when cutting tough alloys, stainless steel, and titanium. Blade thickness is 0.05 inches with a kerf width of 0.082 inches. It is installed and serviced by millwrights, tool room machinists, and metal fabrication technicians.
This blade is suited for horizontal and vertical bandsaw machines that accept a 246-inch blade length with a 1.5-inch blade width. The variable pitch tooth form reduces vibration and harmonics during cuts, making it appropriate for interrupted cuts, varying cross-sections, and mixed-material workloads.
