The LENOX 87934CLB144420 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for demanding metal-cutting applications in professional shop and fabrication environments. The blade measures 14 feet 6 inches long and 1-1/4 inches wide with a 0.042-inch body thickness and a variable 6 to 10 TPI tooth pitch. The cutting teeth are High Speed Steel M42 grade, bonded to a spring steel back for resilience under continuous load. The Vari-Raker tooth set and variable pitch pattern reduce harmonic vibration and extend blade life when cutting a range of metal cross-sections. This blade is installed and serviced by machinists and metal fabricators using industrial vertical or horizontal bandsaws.
This blade is suited for cutting alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, tool steel, structural steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. The variable pitch tooth form allows it to handle varying wall thicknesses and cross-sections without changing blades, making it practical for job shops that run mixed-material cutting schedules. Contour cutting is not a rated application for this blade. It fits bandsaws with a 14 foot 6 inch blade capacity and is sold individually.
Designed for industrial bandsaws with a 14 foot 6 inch blade capacity accepting a 1-1/4 inch wide blade. Rated for cutting alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, tool steel, structural steel, aluminum, and non-ferrous metals.
Blade installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or saw operator following the bandsaw manufacturer's guidelines. Power down and lock out the machine before changing blades. Verify blade tension, tracking, and guide bearing clearance after installation per the saw manufacturer's specifications. Always wear cut-resistant gloves when handling unspooled bandsaw blades.
