The LENOX 83504CLB133960 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade built for demanding metal-cutting applications in fabrication shops and industrial maintenance environments. The blade measures 13 feet in length, 1 inch wide, and 0.035 inches thick, with a variable pitch tooth pattern ranging from 8 to 12 TPI. The M42 high-speed steel tooth tips are bonded to a spring steel back, combining edge hardness with fatigue resistance during continuous cutting cycles. This construction delivers consistent kerf geometry and extended blade life across a broad range of material types and section thicknesses.
This blade is suited for horizontal and vertical bandsaw machines used in professional metalworking, structural fabrication, and tool-and-die shops. The variable pitch design reduces harmonic vibration and chatter when cutting varying cross-sections, making it effective for both solid bar stock and structural profiles. The Vari-Raker tooth set and milled cutting edge support controlled chip formation, which is especially relevant when cutting interrupted cuts or mixed-alloy workpieces. Installation is performed by qualified machine operators or maintenance technicians familiar with bandsaw tension and tracking procedures.
Designed for bandsaw machines accepting a 13-foot blade loop, 1 inch wide and 0.035 inches thick. Suitable for cutting alloy steel, aluminum, non-ferrous metal, carbon steel, stainless steel, structural steel, and tool steel. Contour cutting is not intended for this blade configuration.
Installation should be performed by a qualified operator following the bandsaw manufacturer's blade change procedure. Power down and lock out the machine before removing the old blade or installing this one. Set blade tension and tracking according to the machine manufacturer's specifications for a 1-inch-wide blade. Inspect blade guides, thrust bearings, and wheel tires for wear before completing installation.
