The blade spans 175 inches in total length and measures 1/4 inch wide with a 0.025-inch thickness. The variable-pitch tooth form runs at 10 to 14 TPI, which reduces harmonic vibration during the cut and helps extend blade life. High speed steel M42 teeth are electron-beam welded to a spring steel back, giving the blade flexibility without sacrificing edge hardness.
