The LENOX 82295MAB72375 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for continuous-duty cutting across a wide range of metal and non-metal materials. The blade spans 7 feet 9.5 inches in length and measures 0.5 inches wide with a 0.02-inch blade thickness and a 0.037-inch kerf width. Built on a spring steel back with M42 high speed steel teeth, this 24 TPI constant-pitch blade delivers clean, controlled cuts in contour and straight-line applications. It is part of the LENOX Classic series and is installed by metal fabricators, maintenance trades, and production shops running vertical or horizontal bandsaws.
This blade is suited for cutting alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, structural steel, tool steel, aluminum, other non-ferrous metals, and wood. The wavy tooth set and straight tooth form make it well matched to thin-wall and solid stock where a fine, consistent finish is needed. At 24 TPI, it performs best on thinner cross-sections where chip load per tooth must be kept low. Contour cutting capability allows it to follow curved or irregular cut paths without tooth strippage under normal feed pressures.
Designed as a standard welded replacement bandsaw blade for vertical and horizontal bandsaws accepting a 7-foot 9.5-inch blade loop with a 0.5-inch blade width.
Bandsaw blade installation is performed by qualified metal fabrication technicians or maintenance trades. Before changing the blade, power down the saw, lock out the drive motor per OSHA lockout/tagout procedures, and release blade tension fully before removing the old blade. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling the coiled or looped blade. After seating the new blade on the wheels and guides, set tension and tracking per the saw manufacturer specifications before running the machine.
