The LENOX 81957D2B103100 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for contour cutting across a wide range of metals and materials. Measuring 10 feet 2 inches in length and 0.5 inches wide, it runs at 10 teeth per inch with a constant standard pitch and a straight tooth form. The M42 high-speed steel tooth tips are bonded to a spring steel back, delivering the toughness needed to cut through alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, tool steel, structural steel, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and wood. At 0.035 inches thick with a kerf width of 0.058 inches, it removes material cleanly with minimal blade deflection. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and metalworking contractors as well as fabrication shops rely on this blade for precise contour work.
This blade is suited for horizontal and vertical bandsaw machines in commercial fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and trade service environments. The single-level tooth set and no-rake-angle tooth geometry make it a stable performer when cutting structural and tool steels as well as softer non-ferrous materials. Its welded construction eliminates the need for on-site joining. The Classic series designation places it in LENOX standard production, making it a commonly stocked replacement blade for general-purpose metal bandsaws used across industrial and trade applications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement welded bandsaw blade for metal-cutting vertical and horizontal bandsaw machines that accept a 0.5-inch-wide blade in the 10-foot 2-inch loop length.
Bandsaw blade changes should be performed by qualified technicians with the machine fully powered down and the blade tension released before removal. Verify wheel diameter, blade guide spacing, and maximum blade width rating on the saw before installing this blade. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling coiled or uncoiled bandsaw blades. Follow the saw manufacturer's tensioning procedure and blade-tracking adjustment before resuming operation.
