The LENOX 80348D2B123810 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for continuous contour cutting across a wide range of metals and materials. Measuring 12 feet 6 inches in length and 1/2 inch wide with a 0.035-inch body thickness, this blade runs a 10 TPI constant-pitch tooth pattern with a straight tooth form and single-level set. The tooth tips are M42 high-speed steel bonded to a spring steel back, a construction that provides edge retention under heat while resisting back-end fatigue and breakage. Licensed trades and industrial maintenance technicians install this blade on matching horizontal or vertical bandsaw equipment.
This blade is suited for cutting alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, structural steel, tool steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals, as well as wood. The Classic series design and standard pitch pattern make it a general-purpose workhorse in fabrication shops, mechanical contractor shops, and maintenance facilities where a single blade needs to handle varied stock. The 0.058-inch kerf width is consistent with 1/2-inch blade class cutters and should be factored into tight-tolerance layout work.
Designed for use on bandsaw machines that accept 12-foot 6-inch blade length and 1/2-inch blade width. Verify wheel diameter, blade guide clearance, and tension rating on the host saw before installation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with bandsaw equipment. Power down and lock out the saw before removing the old blade or mounting the new one. Set blade tension and tracking per the saw manufacturer specifications, and confirm blade guides are properly adjusted for the 1/2-inch blade width before running the machine under load. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling coiled bandsaw blades.
