The LENOX 80316D2B72390 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for contour cutting across a wide range of metals and materials. At 94 inches long and 1/2 inch wide, this blade runs a 10 TPI constant pitch with a straight tooth form and single level set. The cutting edge is milled and toothed for clean, consistent kerf. The M42 high speed steel tooth material paired with a spring steel back gives the blade durability under repeated flex and heat cycling. Machinists, fabricators, and maintenance mechanics use this blade for production and job-shop bandsaw work where a reliable, ready-to-run welded blade is required.
This blade is suited for cutting alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, structural steel, tool steel, aluminum, other non-ferrous metals, and wood. The standard pitch pattern and no-angle rake make it appropriate for general-purpose contour cutting on vertical bandsaws in light industrial, fabrication, and MRO environments. The 0.035-inch blade thickness and 0.058-inch kerf width are well matched to 1/2-inch wheel guides on standard shop bandsaws. It is sold individually and ships as a single welded loop ready for installation.
Designed as a replacement welded bandsaw blade for vertical bandsaws accepting a 94-inch (7 feet 10 inches) loop, 1/2-inch wide, 0.035-inch thick blade. Verify wheel diameter, guide spacing, and blade tension rating on the saw before installation.
Bandsaw blade installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or maintenance technician. Power down and lock out the saw before removing the old blade or mounting the new one. Confirm wheel guards are in place and blade tension is set to the saw manufacturer specification before running. Eye protection and cut-resistant gloves are required when handling any bandsaw blade.
