The LENOX 80254D2B103200 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for metal-cutting applications across a wide range of materials. At 10 feet 6 inches in length and 1/2 inch wide with a 0.025-inch thickness, this blade is sized for stationary bandsaw machines used in production shops, fabrication facilities, and maintenance environments. The M42 high speed steel tooth material combined with a spring steel back delivers the edge retention and flex resistance required for continuous or high-cycle cutting. The variable pitch tooth form (8 to 12 TPI) reduces vibration and harmonics, which extends blade life and produces a cleaner cut.
This blade is designed for contour cutting and straight cutting in both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Material applications include alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, structural steel, tool steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals, as well as wood. The Vari-Raker tooth set pattern distributes cutting load evenly across multiple teeth, making it well suited for interrupted cuts, bundle cutting, and mixed cross-sections encountered in metal fabrication and structural work. It is part of the LENOX Classic series and is installed by machinists, metalworkers, and maintenance technicians.
Designed as a welded-loop replacement blade for stationary bandsaw machines accepting a 10-foot 6-inch by 1/2-inch blade in bi-metal configuration.
Bandsaw blade replacement should be performed by a qualified technician with the machine fully de-energized and locked out per applicable OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Blade tension and tracking must be set according to the saw manufacturer's specifications before resuming operation. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling the blade loop, as the teeth present a laceration hazard during installation. Inspect blade guides, thrust bearings, and wheel tires for wear before installing a new blade.
