The LENOX 79751CLB72350 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for demanding metal-cutting applications in professional shop and field environments. Measuring 7 feet 8.5 inches long and 0.75 inches wide with a 0.035-inch blade thickness, this blade features a variable-pitch tooth form in a 6 to 10 TPI range. The tooth material is M42 high-speed steel, known for its heat and wear resistance, set in a Vari-Raker pattern. The spring steel back provides flexibility and fatigue resistance during continuous cutting cycles. Fabricators, pipefitters, and metalworking tradespeople are the primary installers and users of this blade.
This blade is suited for cutting a wide range of metals on horizontal and vertical bandsaw machines in both shop and light industrial settings. Its variable pitch and Vari-Raker tooth set reduce vibration and chatter when cutting through varying wall thicknesses, making it a practical choice for structural work, fabrication shops, and maintenance operations. Material applications include alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, tool steel, structural steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. Contour cutting is not an intended use for this blade.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit welded bandsaw blade for horizontal and vertical bandsaw machines accepting a 7-foot 8.5-inch blade loop in a 0.75-inch width.
Installation should be performed by a qualified tradesperson familiar with bandsaw equipment. Power down and lock out the bandsaw before removing the old blade or fitting the new one. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling the blade loop, as tooth edges are sharp. Verify blade tension and tracking per the saw manufacturer's specifications before resuming operation.
