The LENOX 79693CLB82500 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade built for continuous cutting across a wide range of metals and structural materials. Measuring 98.5 inches in length and 3/4 inch in width with a 0.035-inch body thickness, it carries a variable 10 to 14 TPI tooth pattern that transitions smoothly through varying material cross-sections. The M42 high-speed steel tooth tips deliver hardness and heat resistance for extended edge life, while the spring steel back provides flex and fatigue resistance during extended cuts. Licensed HVAC technicians, pipefitters, and metal fabricators working with structural steel, stainless, or aluminum stock are the primary installers and users of this blade.
This blade is suited for bandsaw applications involving alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, tool steel, structural steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. The variable pitch and Vari-Raker tooth set reduce vibration and harmonics when cutting irregular profiles or bundled stock, making it a practical choice for job-site pipe cutting, fabrication shop use, and maintenance operations where material types vary. It is not designed for contour cutting. The Classic series targets production and general-purpose cutting environments where consistent weld integrity and tooth geometry matter.
Designed for bandsaws that accept a 98.5-inch blade length and 3/4-inch blade width. Compatible with alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, tool steel, structural steel, aluminum, and general non-ferrous metal cutting applications. Not intended for contour cutting operations.
Bandsaw blade installation should be performed by qualified technicians familiar with the specific saw model. Disconnect and lock out power to the saw before removing the old blade or installing this one. Verify blade tension, tracking, and guide bearing clearance according to the saw manufacturer specifications before resuming cuts. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling coiled or uncoiled blades, as teeth and the welded joint present laceration hazards.
