The LENOX 79684CLB92895 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade designed for continuous cutting of a wide range of metals in professional shop and fabrication environments. The blade measures 9 feet 6 inches in overall length, 3/4 inches wide, and 0.035 inches thick, with a variable pitch tooth form running 10 to 14 TPI. The M42 high-speed steel tooth tips are electron-beam welded to a spring steel back, delivering heat resistance and edge retention under demanding cutting cycles. The Vari-Raker tooth set reduces vibration and chip load, making it well suited for interrupted cuts and variable cross-sections. Licensed trades and skilled metalworking technicians are the primary installers.
This blade is intended for use on horizontal and vertical metal-cutting bandsaw machines accepting a 9 foot 6 inch loop. It handles a broad material range including carbon steel, alloy steel, tool steel, stainless steel, structural steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. The variable pitch pattern performs across thin-wall tubing, solid bar, and structural shapes without a dedicated blade change. It is not designed for contour or radius cutting applications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement bandsaw blade for metal-cutting bandsaw machines that accept a 9 foot 6 inch welded loop with a 3/4 inch blade width.
Bandsaw blade installation should be performed by a qualified metalworking technician or machinist. Disconnect and lock out power to the saw before removing the old blade or mounting the new one. Verify blade tracking, guide bearing clearance, and tension settings per the saw manufacturer specifications before resuming cuts. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling coiled bandsaw blades, as the edges present a laceration hazard during uncoiling and mounting.
