The LENOX 79669CLB134240 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade built for cutting metal and structural materials on stationary band saw machines. It measures 13 feet 11 inches in length, 1 inch in width, and 0.035 inches in thickness. The blade uses a variable pitch tooth pattern ranging from 8 to 12 teeth per inch (TPI), which helps reduce vibration and harmonic chatter during cuts. Teeth are formed from M42 high speed steel, a cobalt-bearing grade known for heat resistance and edge retention. The back of the blade is spring steel. This blade is part of the LENOX Classic series and is installed by metal fabricators, maintenance machinists, and industrial cutting professionals.
This blade is suited for cutting a wide range of metals in industrial and commercial environments. Stated material applications include alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, tool steel, structural steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. The variable pitch and Vari-Raker tooth set are designed to handle both solid bar stock and structural shapes. Contour cutting is not a rated application for this blade.
Designed as a continuous-loop welded bandsaw blade for stationary metal-cutting band saws that accept a blade 13 feet 11 inches in length and 1 inch in width.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with band saw equipment. Disconnect and lock out power to the saw before removing the old blade or installing a new one. Verify wheel size, blade guides, and blade tension settings match the manufacturer specifications for a 1-inch-wide blade before operation. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling the blade, as the teeth present a laceration hazard during installation.
