The LENOX 5321FLC1464 is a band saw blade coil stock designed for continuous cutting applications where on-site blade fabrication is required. Supplied as a 100-foot coil, the blade measures 1/4 inch wide and 0.025 inches thick, with a 6 teeth-per-inch (TPI) constant pitch and a hook tooth form. The flexible back construction allows the blade to be cut and welded to custom lengths in the shop or field. It is installed by machinists, maintenance technicians, and fabrication professionals who operate vertical or horizontal band saws requiring shop-cut blade lengths.
This coil stock suits contour cutting tasks in light fabrication, metal service, and general industrial maintenance environments. The raker tooth set pattern distributes cutting load evenly across the blade width, making it appropriate for straight and contour cuts through a range of materials. The 1/4-inch width is well suited to tight-radius contour work where a wider blade would bind. Carbon steel construction is appropriate for lower-speed cutting applications on softer metals, wood, and non-metallic materials.
Designed as a general-purpose band saw blade coil stock for vertical and horizontal band saws that accept 1/4-inch wide blades welded to a custom loop length from coil stock.
Blade fabrication from coil stock requires a blade welder and grinder; cutting and welding should be performed by qualified shop personnel familiar with band saw blade preparation. Power down and lock out the band saw before removing the existing blade and installing a new one. Verify that the finished loop length, blade width, and thickness match the saw manufacturer specifications before tensioning. Blade tension and tracking should be set according to the saw manufacturer guidelines before beginning any cut.
