The LENOX 52012D2B72375 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for contour cutting on metal-cutting band saws. The blade measures 7 feet 9.5 inches in length and 3/8 inches in width with a 0.035-inch body thickness and a 4 TPI hook-tooth configuration. The M42 high-speed steel tooth tips are electron-beam welded to a spring steel back, delivering heat resistance and flex life under continuous cutting load. A single-level set tooth geometry and positive rake angle promote aggressive, consistent chip removal. This blade is intended for professional trade use in fabrication shops, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical service environments where accurate contour cuts are required on a range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
This blade is suited for residential and commercial metalworking applications including cutting alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, structural steel, tool steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals, as well as wood. The 4 TPI pitch makes it a practical choice for thicker stock and general-purpose production cutting. It is a standard replacement or stocked consumable for shops running portable or stationary band saws that accept a 7 feet 9.5-inch blade loop. Licensed machinists, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and metal fabricators are the primary installers and users of this blade.
Designed as a direct-fit welded bandsaw blade replacement for band saws accepting a 7 feet 9.5-inch blade loop with a 3/8-inch blade width.
Bandsaw blade installation should be performed by qualified personnel following the saw manufacturer's blade-tensioning and tracking procedures. Disconnect and lock out power to the saw before removing the old blade or installing a new one. Use appropriate cut-resistant gloves when handling the coiled or uncoiled blade. Verify blade tension and tracking alignment before returning the saw to service to prevent blade drift or premature tooth wear.
