The LENOX 49804TRB144420 is a welded bandsaw blade engineered for production cutting on metal bandsaws. Part of the Tri-Master series, it features micrograin carbide-tipped teeth with a variable pitch of 3 to 4 TPI and a ground tooth set, delivering consistent chip load and reduced vibration across a range of cross-sections. The blade measures 14 feet 6 inches in length and 1-1/4 inches wide, with a 0.042-inch blade thickness and a kerf width of 0.072 inches. The spring steel back provides flex resistance during continuous cutting cycles. This blade is installed and serviced by machinists and maintenance technicians working with horizontal or vertical metal-cutting bandsaw equipment.
This blade is suited for cutting alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, tool steel, mold steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. Its variable pitch tooth form helps reduce harmonic vibration when cutting solid bar, structural shapes, and bundled stock. The carbide-tipped micrograin teeth extend blade life compared to standard bi-metal blades, making this a strong choice for shops running high-cycle production cuts or tackling difficult-to-machine materials. Contour cutting is not the intended application for this blade.
Designed as an OEM-style welded replacement blade for metal-cutting bandsaws that accept a 14-foot 6-inch blade loop with a 1-1/4-inch blade width. Verify wheel diameter, blade guide spacing, and blade tension capacity on the host machine before installation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or maintenance technician. Disconnect and lock out power to the bandsaw before changing blades. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling coiled or uncoiled bandsaw blades. Set blade tension and guide clearance according to the bandsaw manufacturer specifications before resuming operation.
