The LENOX 4049NEC12127 is a band saw blade coil stock designed for continuous cutting operations across metal fabrication, mechanical trades, and general-purpose sawing applications. The coil supplies 100 feet of 1/2-inch-wide, 0.025-inch-thick carbon steel blade material with a constant-pitch, 18-tooth-per-inch (TPI) configuration and a raker tooth set. The hard back construction resists blade flex and maintains straight tracking under load. This coil format allows shops and field technicians to cut custom blade lengths for a range of band saw frame sizes, reducing inventory overhead compared to pre-welded loop blades.
This coil stock is suited for light-to-medium-duty contour cutting in residential and commercial mechanical trade environments, including HVAC pipe and sheet metal cutting, plumbing rough-in work, and general fabrication. The 18 TPI constant-pitch geometry delivers a smooth finish cut on thin-wall tubing, conduit, and similar materials. The raker set pattern clears chips efficiently in straight and contour passes. Technicians weld or pin-join cut lengths on-site to fit specific band saw frames.
Designed as a general-purpose band saw blade coil stock compatible with band saw frames that accept 1/2-inch-wide blades welded or joined to the required loop length.
A licensed or qualified technician should cut and weld blade lengths using a blade welder appropriate for 0.025-inch carbon steel stock. Power down and lock out the band saw before installing or removing any blade. Verify the finished loop length and blade tension setting against the band saw manufacturer specifications before cutting. Wear appropriate hand and eye protection when handling and cutting coil stock.
