The LENOX 39551CLB154725 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade built for continuous cutting of metals in industrial and shop environments. Measuring 15 feet 6 inches long, 1 inch wide, and 0.035 inches thick, this blade is designed for use on stationary vertical or horizontal band saws. The variable-pitch tooth form runs 4 to 6 TPI, reducing harmonic vibration and improving cut finish across a range of material thicknesses. High speed steel M42 teeth are electron-beam welded to a spring steel back for fatigue resistance under constant flexing. Licensed metalworking shops, fabricators, and maintenance technicians are the primary installers and users of this blade type.
This blade is suited for cutting alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, tool steel, structural steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. The variable-pitch Vari-Raker tooth set minimizes tooth loading and reduces the risk of tooth stripping on interrupted cuts or irregular stock. It is well suited for production cutting environments handling mixed cross-sections where a single fixed TPI blade would perform inconsistently. The LENOX Classic series targets professional metalworking and fabrication applications where blade life and cut accuracy are critical performance factors.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement bandsaw blade for stationary band saw machines accepting a 15 feet 6 inch loop, 1 inch wide blade. Suitable for cutting alloy steel, aluminum, non-ferrous metal, carbon steel, stainless steel, structural steel, and tool steel as specified by the manufacturer.
Blade installation should be performed by a qualified metalworking technician or machinist with the band saw fully powered down and locked out per OSHA lockout-tagout procedures. Inspect blade guides, wheels, and tensioning mechanisms before mounting the new blade. Verify blade tension and tracking before resuming powered operation. Do not exceed the band saw manufacturer's rated blade speed for the material being cut.
