The LENOX 39538CLB123660 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for demanding metal-cutting applications in professional shop and field environments. Measuring 12 feet in length and 1-1/4 inches wide with a 0.042-inch blade thickness, it runs a variable 4 to 6 TPI pitch pattern using a Vari-Raker tooth set for smooth chip evacuation and reduced blade vibration. The M42 high-speed steel tooth material delivers hardness retention under high-heat cutting conditions. This blade is part of the LENOX Classic series and is used by machinists, fabricators, and metalworking tradespeople who require consistent, accurate cuts through a range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
This blade is suited for contour-free straight cutting on vertical or horizontal bandsaws in production and maintenance shop settings. It handles alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, structural steel, tool steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. The variable pitch tooth form reduces harmonic vibration during cuts, which is especially useful when working through varying cross-sections or interrupted cuts. A positive tooth rake angle promotes aggressive, efficient material removal without excessive blade deflection.
Designed as a replacement welded bandsaw blade for continuous-loop horizontal and vertical bandsaw machines accepting a 12-foot, 1-1/4-inch-wide blade.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or maintenance technician familiar with bandsaw blade tensioning and tracking procedures. Power down and lock out the bandsaw before removing the old blade or installing the new one, per OSHA lockout/tagout requirements. Verify wheel guides, blade guards, and tensioning mechanisms are properly adjusted before resuming operation. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling the blade during installation.
