The LENOX 39509CLB164875 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade designed for demanding metal-cutting applications in fabrication shops and industrial maintenance settings. The blade runs 16 feet long and 1-1/4 inches wide with a 0.042-inch thickness and a variable-pitch tooth pattern of 4 to 6 TPI. The cutting edge uses a Vari-Raker tooth set with a positive rake angle, reducing vibration and improving chip clearance across a range of material thicknesses. The M42 high-speed steel tooth tips are electron-beam welded to a spring steel back, giving the blade resistance to tooth strippage under interrupted cuts or scale. Licensed blade welders and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers.
This blade is suited for horizontal and vertical bandsaw applications where operators are cutting alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, tool steel, structural steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. The variable pitch configuration performs well on bundles, solids, and structural profiles where a fixed-pitch blade would load up or chatter. The 16-foot length fits a range of mid-size industrial bandsaws. The Vari-Raker set pattern reduces burr formation and extends blade life on production-volume cuts.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement blade for industrial bandsaws accepting a 16-foot, 1-1/4-inch-wide blade. Verify blade length, width, and thickness against your saw manufacturer specifications before installation.
Bandsaw blade replacement should be performed by a qualified technician with the saw fully powered down and locked out per OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Confirm wheel diameter, blade guides, and tensioning system accommodate a 1-1/4-inch-wide blade before mounting. Blade tracking and tension must be set according to the saw manufacturer specifications after installation. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling coiled or welded bandsaw blades.
