The variable-pitch tooth geometry at 4 to 6 TPI reduces harmonic vibration during the cut, helping extend blade life and improve surface finish on a wide range of metal stock. The M42 high-speed steel tooth tips are bonded to a spring steel back, giving the blade both edge retention and the flex needed to run continuously without fatigue cracking.
