The LENOX 39410CLB154570 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for demanding metal-cutting applications. It measures 15 feet in length and 1-1/4 inches in width, with a blade thickness of 0.042 inches and a kerf width of 0.068 inches. The variable-pitch tooth form runs at 4 to 6 TPI with a Vari-Raker tooth set and a positive rake angle, which reduces vibration and extends blade life during continuous cutting operations. The cutting teeth are M42 high speed steel, a cobalt-content grade well suited for interrupted cuts and hard alloys. This is the Classic series from LENOX, welded to size and ready to install.
This blade is rated for cutting a wide range of materials including alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, tool steel, structural steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. It is designed for use in horizontal and vertical metal-cutting bandsaw machines in fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and production environments. The variable pitch configuration makes it especially practical for cutting bundled stock, structural shapes, and varying cross-sections where a fixed-pitch blade would chatter or load up. Contour cutting is not an intended application for this blade.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement welded bandsaw blade for metal-cutting bandsaw machines accepting a 15-foot by 1-1/4-inch blade in bi-metal configuration.
Bandsaw blade changes should be performed by a qualified technician with the machine fully de-energized and locked out per OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Verify wheel diameter, blade guide spacing, and blade tension specification on the saw before installing to confirm this blade length and width are compatible. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling coiled or uncoiled bandsaw blades. After installation, run the saw briefly at no load and check blade tracking before beginning production cuts.
