The LENOX 20116218he is a bi-metal hacksaw blade built for heavy-duty hand sawing on tough metal materials. At 12 inches long and 1/2 inch wide with 18 teeth per inch (TPI), this blade is engineered for aggressive cutting performance on dense and hardened metals. Bi-metal construction bonds a high-speed steel tooth edge to a flexible alloy steel back, delivering cut life and break resistance that carbon blades cannot match. This pack includes 100 blades, making it a practical bulk supply for high-volume trade use on job sites or in shops.
This blade is suited for plumbers, pipefitters, electricians, and general contractors working with heavy metal stock. Typical applications include cutting black pipe, Unistrut channel, hardened steel bar, threaded rod, and rebar. The 18 TPI tooth count makes it a strong match for solid stock and thick-walled material where a finer pitch would load up and a coarser pitch would strip. It installs in any standard hand hacksaw frame that accepts 12-inch blades.
Designed for use in standard 12-inch hand hacksaw frames. Rated cutting applications include black pipe, Unistrut, hardened steel, threaded rod, and rebar.
Blade installation and replacement should be performed with the hacksaw frame tension fully released. Seat the blade with the teeth pointing forward and tension the frame until the blade does not flex laterally under hand pressure. Worn or damaged blades should be replaced before use to avoid blade breakage during the cut. Dispose of used blades in a puncture-resistant sharps container or designated blade disposal unit.
