The LENOX 2009416CHC is a carbide-tipped hole saw designed for cutting clean, precise holes in sheet metal. With a 1 inch saw diameter and a 1/2 inch cutting depth, this saw delivers the hardness and edge retention required for metal fabrication and HVAC sheet metal work. The toothed cutting edge maintains aggressive bite through galvanized and mild steel sheet stock. At 0.19 pounds, it is lightweight and easy to handle in tight spaces. This hole saw is sold individually and does not include an arbor.
This hole saw is suited for residential and commercial sheet metal applications, including ductwork penetrations, electrical knockout work, and panel fabrication. HVAC technicians, electricians, and sheet metal fabricators commonly use this size for routing small conduit or fitting penetrations through light-gauge metal panels and duct surfaces. The 1 inch diameter is a standard size for trades work requiring consistent, repeatable hole placement.
Designed for use on sheet metal applications. No arbor is included; a separately purchased arbor compatible with standard hole saw shanks is required for use.
Installation should be performed by a qualified tradesperson familiar with metal cutting practices. Ensure the workpiece is securely clamped before beginning any cut to prevent rotation or movement. Disconnect power to any panel or equipment before cutting into energized enclosures. Always wear appropriate eye and hand protection when operating hole saws on metal stock.
