The LENOX 2 3/4" HOL is a bi-metal hole saw designed for cutting through common construction materials including wood, drywall, plastics, and light-gauge metals. The saw features a proprietary toothform geometry engineered to extend cutting life compared to standard bi-metal designs. A reinforced tooth profile absorbs impact forces caused by obstructions and bind-ups during drilling, reducing tooth breakage on demanding job sites. The Speed Slot staircase cut-out in the body allows fast plug ejection without stopping work to clear the cup by hand. Sized at 2-3/4 inches in cutting diameter, this saw fits standard drilling rigs used by electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians for penetration and rough-in work.
This hole saw is suited for residential and light commercial construction and service applications where consistent, repeatable hole sizing is required. Typical uses include cutting conduit knockouts, pipe penetrations, junction box openings, and HVAC duct penetrations through wood framing, sub-panels, and similar substrates. It is compatible with both quick-change and traditional non-quick-change arbors, making it adaptable to most standard drill drivers and hole saw kits already in the field. Not compatible with proprietary arbor systems that require dedicated adapters.

Installation is performed by licensed electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, or qualified tradespeople using a standard drill driver or hole saw mandrel. Secure the workpiece before drilling and ensure the pilot bit is fully engaged before applying cutting pressure. Wear appropriate eye and face protection, as bi-metal saws generate metal chips and debris during use. Clear the plug from the saw body using the Speed Slot opening rather than inserting fingers into the cup.
