The LENOX 2 1/8" hol is a bi-metal hole saw designed for cutting through common construction materials including wood, plastic, and light-gauge metals. Built with a proprietary toothform and reinforced tooth design, it absorbs impact forces from obstructions and bind-ups to reduce tooth breakage and extend service life. The Speed Slot staircase design allows for fast plug ejection without removing the saw from the drill. With a cutting depth of 1.875 inches and a 2-1/8-inch diameter, this saw is suited for electricians, plumbers, and general contractors drilling penetrations in framing, panels, and sheet goods.
This hole saw is used in residential and light commercial construction for creating circular penetrations in wood framing, drywall, plastic enclosures, and similar materials. Its multipurpose classification makes it a practical choice for trade work where a single saw needs to handle varied substrate conditions on the same job. It is compatible with both quick-change and traditional non-quick-change arbors, giving installers flexibility with existing drill setups already on the truck.
Compatible with both quick-change and traditional non-quick-change arbors. Note: proprietary arbor systems that require adapters are excluded. Verify diameter range listed on packaging before use.
Install the hole saw onto a compatible arbor before chucking into a corded or cordless drill or drill press. Secure the workpiece and apply steady, controlled feed pressure to avoid binding. When the saw stalls on an obstruction, release trigger and clear the plug before resuming. Follow applicable trade codes and jobsite safety requirements when drilling through structural members or live panels.
