The LENOX 1904263 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for contour cutting on portable and stationary band saws. It measures 13 feet 9 inches in length and 1/4 inch in width, with a blade thickness of 0.025 inches and a kerf width of 0.043 inches. The cutting edge is built from M42 high speed steel teeth bonded to a spring steel back, giving the blade the flexibility to resist fatigue while the tooth edge holds up against hard and abrasive materials. The variable 14 to 18 TPI wavy tooth pattern reduces vibration and produces a clean cut across a wide range of stock profiles. Licensed metalworking tradespeople and fabricators are the primary installers and users of this blade.
This blade is suited for cutting alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, structural steel, tool steel, aluminum, other non-ferrous metals, and wood. The variable tooth form and wavy tooth set make it practical for both thin-walled sections and solid stock. It is a good fit for job-site portable band saws and shop-floor stationary band saws that accept a 13-foot 9-inch blade loop. Contour cutting capability makes it useful for curved profiles as well as straight crosscuts.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit blade for band saws accepting a 13-foot 9-inch welded loop blade in 1/4-inch width.
Blade installation and tensioning should be performed by a qualified metalworking technician or experienced fabricator. Always power down and disconnect the band saw from its power source before removing or installing a blade. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling the coiled or uncoiled blade. Follow the saw manufacturer's tensioning and blade-guide specifications to avoid blade twist or premature fatigue.
