The LENOX 18722CLB144420 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for demanding metal-cutting applications in professional shop and fabrication environments. Measuring 174 inches in total length and 3/4 inch wide with a 0.035-inch blade thickness, this blade fits standard vertical bandsaws used by metalworking trades and maintenance technicians. The variable-pitch tooth form runs at 5 to 8 TPI, reducing harmonic vibration during cuts and producing a cleaner kerf. Tooth material is M42 high-speed steel, a cobalt-bearing alloy grade known for retaining hardness at elevated cutting temperatures. The spring steel back provides flex resistance through continuous cutting cycles.
This blade is suited for contour and straight cuts on a broad range of metals in industrial, commercial, and job-site settings. Typical applications include cutting alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, structural steel, tool steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. The Vari-Raker tooth set and variable pitch pattern allow the blade to transition across varying cross-sections and wall thicknesses without tooth stripping. It is part of the LENOX Classic series and is intended for professional bandsaw operators working with production or maintenance cutting tasks where blade longevity and cut quality are priorities.
Designed as a welded replacement bandsaw blade for vertical bandsaws accepting a 14-foot 6-inch blade loop with a 3/4-inch blade width.
Bandsaw blade installation should be performed by a qualified technician with the machine fully powered down and locked out per applicable lockout/tagout procedures. Blade tension and tracking must be set according to the bandsaw manufacturer specifications before operation. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling the coiled or uncoiled blade. Inspect blade guides and thrust bearings for wear before installing a new blade.
