The LENOX 1802481 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for demanding metal-cutting applications in professional shop and industrial environments. The blade measures 11 feet 1 inch in length and 1 inch in width, with a 0.035-inch blade thickness and a 0.057-inch kerf width. The variable 4 to 6 TPI pitch pattern reduces harmonic vibration and chatter during cuts, improving surface finish and extending blade life. The M42 high-speed steel tooth tips are bonded to a spring steel back, combining edge hardness with fatigue resistance. This is a Classic Pro series blade suited to licensed machinists, fabricators, and tool-room technicians working with production bandsaws.
This blade is designed for contour-free straight cutting on a wide range of metals including alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, structural steel, tool steel, mold steel, bearing steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. The Vari-Raker tooth set and positive rake angle improve chip clearance and reduce heat buildup during extended cuts. Typical installations include vertical or horizontal production bandsaws in machine shops, fab shops, and maintenance facilities handling structural or precision stock.
Designed as a replacement or upgrade welded bandsaw blade for production bandsaws accepting an 11-foot 1-inch by 1-inch blade. Suitable for cutting alloy steel, aluminum, non-ferrous metal, carbon steel, stainless steel, structural steel, tool steel, mold steel, and bearing steel.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or maintenance technician with the bandsaw powered down and locked out per OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Verify wheel diameter, blade guide spacing, and blade tension specifications on the host machine before mounting. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling coiled or uncoiled bandsaw blades. Confirm blade tracking and tension before resuming powered operation.
