The LENOX 1793131 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade built for demanding metal-cutting applications in professional fabrication and maintenance environments. The blade runs 16 feet long and 1-1/4 inches wide with a 0.042-inch blade thickness and a 0.066-inch kerf width. Its M42 high speed steel tooth material and positive rake angle deliver aggressive cutting action through hard and abrasive workpieces. The variable pitch tooth form, rated 5 to 8 TPI, reduces vibration and harmonic chatter across varying cross-sections, making it well suited for production bandsaw use. Installation and operation are handled by metal fabricators and maintenance machinists.
This blade is part of the LENOX Classic Pro series and is designed for use on horizontal and vertical metal-cutting bandsaws that accept a 16-foot blade. It cuts a wide range of materials including alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, structural steel, tool steel, mold steel, bearing steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. The vari-raker tooth set and variable pitch pattern help maintain consistent chip clearance across these material types. It is not rated for contour cutting applications.
Designed as a replacement or production-stock welded bandsaw blade for metal-cutting bandsaw machines that accept a 16-foot by 1-1/4-inch blade.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or metal fabricator. Power down and lockout-tagout the bandsaw completely before removing the existing blade or threading the new one. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling the coiled blade, as the teeth present a laceration hazard during uncoiling and tensioning. Set blade tension and guide clearances according to the machine manufacturer's specifications before resuming operation.
