The LENOX 1793127 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for demanding metal-cutting applications in industrial and trade shop environments. The blade measures 15 feet in length and 1-1/4 inches wide with a 0.042-inch thickness, and features a variable 5 to 8 TPI tooth pattern for efficient chip evacuation across a wide range of material thicknesses. Constructed with an M42 high speed steel tooth edge bonded to a spring steel back, this Classic Pro series blade delivers extended cutting life under continuous-use conditions. Licensed machinists, fabricators, and millwrights are the primary installers and operators of this blade type.
This blade is designed for horizontal and vertical metal-cutting bandsaws requiring a 15-foot welded loop. The variable pitch Vari-Raker tooth set reduces vibration and harmonic chatter during cuts, making it well suited for structural steel, alloy steel, tool steel, mold steel, bearing steel, stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. The positive rake tooth geometry promotes aggressive, consistent stock removal on both solid bar and structural profiles.
Designed for metal-cutting bandsaws that accept a 15-foot welded bi-metal blade with a 1-1/4-inch width. Verify your saw's wheel diameter and blade guide specifications before installation to confirm fitment.
Blade installation should be performed by qualified personnel familiar with bandsaw equipment and safe blade-handling procedures. Power down and lock out the saw before removing the old blade or mounting the new one. Heavy gloves are required when handling bandsaw blades, as tooth edges present a laceration hazard. Follow the saw manufacturer's tensioning and tracking procedures before returning the machine to service.
