The LENOX 1793125 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for demanding metal-cutting applications in professional shop and industrial environments. At 174 inches (14 feet 6 inches) in length and 1-1/4 inches wide, this blade fits standard vertical and horizontal band saws configured for that throat and wheel size. The blade is 0.042 inches thick with a 0.066-inch kerf width. The cutting edge uses M42 high-speed steel teeth bonded to a spring steel back, delivering heat and wear resistance that outlasts carbon-steel-only blades when cutting hard or abrasive materials. Tooth geometry follows a Vari-Raker set pattern at a positive rake angle, reducing vibration and improving chip clearance across varying material thicknesses.
This blade is suited for cutting a broad range of metals including alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, structural steel, tool steel, mold steel, bearing steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. The variable 5 to 8 TPI pitch transitions smoothly across tooth gullets, making it a practical all-around choice when a shop handles mixed material stock without swapping blades for every job. It is used in fabrication shops, machine shops, and maintenance facilities where a single blade needs to handle structural profiles, bar stock, and plate in one setup.
Designed as an OEM-style welded replacement bandsaw blade for vertical or horizontal band saws accepting a 174-inch blade length and 1-1/4-inch blade width.
Bandsaw blade replacement should be performed by a qualified technician following the saw manufacturer's blade change procedure. Disconnect and lock out power to the saw before removing the existing blade or installing the new one. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling any bandsaw blade. Set blade tension and tracking per the saw manufacturer's specifications before resuming cutting operations.
