Blade installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or shop technician with the bandsaw fully powered down and de-energized at the disconnect. Break in a new blade by running initial cuts at reduced feed rate and speed for the first several minutes to seat the teeth and reduce the risk of premature tooth stripping.
