The LENOX 1793118 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for demanding metal-cutting applications. The blade stretches 12 feet in length and measures 1-1/4 inches wide by 0.042 inches thick. It runs a variable 5 to 8 TPI pitch in the Classic Pro series, using M42 high speed steel teeth bonded to a spring steel back. The vari-raker tooth set and positive rake angle reduce cutting resistance and heat buildup during prolonged cuts through tough alloys. A kerf width of 0.066 inches delivers clean, accurate cuts with minimal material waste. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical contractors as well as metalworking fabricators rely on this blade for high-cycle production cutting.
This blade is intended for horizontal and vertical metal-cutting bandsaws accepting a 12-foot welded loop. It handles a broad range of materials including carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, tool steel, mold steel, bearing steel, structural steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. The variable pitch pattern minimizes vibration and chatter when transitioning between varying cross-sections or wall thicknesses, making it well-suited for structural profiles, solid bar stock, and tubing. It is not designed for contour cutting applications.
Designed for metal-cutting bandsaw machines that accept a 12-foot welded bi-metal blade with a 1-1/4-inch blade width. Suitable for cutting carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, tool steel, mold steel, bearing steel, structural steel, aluminum, and general non-ferrous metals.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with bandsaw blade handling. Disconnect and lock out power to the bandsaw before removing the old blade or mounting the new one. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling the coiled blade. Set blade tension and tracking per the machine manufacturer specifications before resuming operation.
